Dales Cornwall chose GreenGenUK for a 100.45kWp Commercial Solar PV System installation at their Vauxhall Dealership in Scorrier, symbolizing a commitment to clean energy and eco-friendly practices.

Key Components of the Solar System:

At the heart of this installation are 245 x JA Solar 410w Modules, working seamlessly with 3 Solis 3-phase inverters, a Solis Export Manager, and a Renusol Metasol mounting system. This configuration ensures optimal energy production and efficiency, as well as providing robust warranty and back up guarantees (such as a 25-year salt air resistance promise) that installations in Cornwall require.

Impressive Energy Generation and Environmental Impact:

The newly installed solar system is projected to generate nearly 100,000 kWh of clean energy annually. This not only translates to a significant reduction in electricity bills for Dales Vauxhall but also contributes to an annual offset of 30+ tonnes of CO2 emissions.

Swift Installation:

From our operations staff through to our installers, our planned installation was completed swiftly over a 2-week period in March 2023 by co-ordinating scaffold and material delivery, installation and commissioning, all without hindering our clients day to day operations.

On-going Monitoring:

With the export manager in place, both our clients and ourselves can monitor the performance of the system via the Solis Cloud online platform. This set up allows us to see not just how much the solar system is generating, but also how much the building is using from both the solar and grid. This provides real-time data and calculates the total benefit of the system. In the first 6 months of operation we can see the system produced almost 10% more than predicted, with over 70% being consumed directly on-site. These accurate readings will be used in the future to determine the viability of energy storage systems and other devices to further enhance this commercial solar system.
