We recently completed an installation of a solar PV and GivEnergy battery system at a property in Roche, St Austell. Our client sought to lower their energy costs, improve their home’s sustainability, and reduce reliance on grid electricity. With energy prices on the rise, they turned to GreenGenUK to provide a custom solar solution. They wanted a system that would generate reliable power and ensure long-term financial benefits.
We designed and installed a 5.46 kWp solar PV system consisting of high-performance Aiko Neo Star 455W panels, coupled with the GivEnergy Hybrid Inverter and a 9.5 kWh battery storage solution. This setup was carefully selected to provide the right balance of power output and storage capacity for the client’s needs.
System Output: The system is estimated to produce 5048.521 kWh annually, covering a significant portion of the property’s energy requirements.
Annual Benefit: With energy prices on the rise, the homeowner will benefit from annual savings of approximately £1,161.16, thanks to the energy generated by the solar system and reduced reliance on the grid.
Payback Period: With an estimated payback period of just under five years, the system provides excellent financial returns over its lifetime, helping the homeowner recover the initial investment quickly.
