A Mitsubishi 8.5kW Ultra Quiet air source heat pump installation undertaken by GreenGenUK in 2020 for a customer based in St. Agnes.
This 400% efficient 8.5kW Ultra Quiet air source heat pump replaced the existing electric boiler and now supplies all the home’s heating and hot water demand.
GreenGenUK was first approached by the customer shortly after they had purchased the property. The task was to find a more efficient, cost-effective way to power their new home.
The customer contacted GreenGenUK because of our background and MCS-accreditation in a number of renewable technologies. With this, GreenGen were able to devise the most financially and environmentally beneficial solutions with the customer.
As part of a larger project to renovate and modernise the property, GreenGenUK was tasked to handle the solar thermal installation at this property situated between Helston and Penzance in Praa Sands.
Scheduled quarterly cuts to the Renewable Heat Incentive are happening at the end of September 2015 and it’s important for customers investing in a renewable heat technology to understand what they mean.
People with renewable heating systems installed since 15 July 2009 may have to wait to apply for the domestic renewable heat incentive (RHI). Last week the government announced its plans to phase the process.
