Recently, our team completed a Solar PV installation on the outskirts of Newquay, Cornwall, for a client who wanted to expand their existing solar energy system. The primary goal was to maximise efficiency and effectively utilise the available roof space. The client chose JA Solar All Black 440W panels, known for their superior performance and sleek design. We worked with the client to optimise panel placement, significantly increasing energy output and reducing grid reliance and costs for a sustainable future.

Inverter: GivEnergy Hybrid Inverter 5.0kW Gen 3
Battery: GivEnergy 9.5kWh Gen 2

By connecting both the new and existing solar arrays to the same GivEnergy battery, the system efficiently stores more excess energy. This configuration maximises energy savings while ensuring optimal use of both arrays.

Furthermore, this expanded solar PV system is projected to generate an additional 5,528.16 kWh of energy annually, leading to a CO2 saving of 1.06 tonnes each year. With these impressive efficiency gains, the client can anticipate a payback period of just over three years, making this investment both environmentally friendly and economically advantageous.
