GreenGenUK is looking to expand its office team with the appointment of a trainee project manager.

This entry-level role would be ideal for a recent graduate or college-level candidate looking to for a career within the renewable, electrical or mechanical industry.

With a commitment to delivering high-quality projects and always looking to improve customer experiences, we are expanding our operations team and seeking a motivated individual to join us as a Trainee Project Manager.

Job Description: As a Trainee Project Manager at GreenGenUK, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations team throughout entire project lifecycles, from order placement to project completion. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the growth of a dynamic and environmentally conscious company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to inbound orders in adherence to the successful sales process
  • Scheduling projects and communicating effectively with customers
  • Generating picking lists for materials required for installations
  • Conducting risk assessments and preparing method statements
  • Collaborating with GreenGen’s installation teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Creating comprehensive Job Packs for installations
  • Providing support with post-installation documentation and handover procedures
  • Collaborating with other members of the office team as needed

 Personal Specification:
The successful candidate will receive full training and support, but the following skills are essential:

  • Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software applications
  • Professional approach to internal and external communications
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and learn on the job
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a small office team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize workloads to meet client expectations
  • Preferred location or existing connection with Cornwall
