GET A QUOTEThese renewable incentive schemes aim to increase the uptake of renewable systems by providing a financial incentive to customers installing a renewable solution. As a result, UK carbon emissions will reduce. In effect, consumers receive a benefit for switching to a renewable solution and the government benefits as fossil fuel consumption and carbon output lower.
In order to accelerate the UK’s transition away from fossil fuel heating systems, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme provides an upfront contribution towards the costs of installing a renewable heating system.
Homes and businesses can claim £7,500 towards the costs of air and ground source heat pumps. The payment is made upfront and comes off of the total amount the customer will pay.
Applications are installed-led and only eligible systems and homes will be successful. Find more details by following the link below.
Renewable technologies must be MCS approved and installed by an MCS approved provider to be eligible for a renewable incentive.
MCS is the governing body for the renewable industry. The scheme ensures installations and components adhere to various quality standards. MCS approved to install solar PV, air and ground source heat pumps and solar thermal system, all GreenGenUK installations are eligible for government incentive.

As of 1st April 2022, and extending for a period of five years, the installation of certain energy-saving materials, notably heat pumps, will benefit from a zero-rate VAT. This adjustment not only enhances the previous reduced VAT rate of 5% but also greatly simplifies the VAT regulations pertaining to energy-saving measures. This initiative underlines our commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and offers an unparalleled opportunity for you to invest in green technology while enjoying substantial savings.
