The second of two solar PV installations recently undertaken by GreenGenUK in Bude, Cornwall, a 4kW barn-mounted solar PV array.
We worked with this customer over a period of time, developing and modifying our solar proposals to meet the requirements of the property and the customer’s wishes.

This solar installation was completed in a single day, ensuring minimum disruption to the customer. GreenGenUK covered all aspects of the install, including survey, quotation, layout design, installation and subsequent MCS registration and Feed-in Tariff application.
Financial Returns and Benefits
GreenGenUK calculates this 4kW solar PV array to provide an annual output of 3974-kilowatt hours of electricity.
At this rate of generation, this installation is predicted to provide:
– Feed-in Tariff generation payments of £513 per annum.
– Feed-in Tariff export payments of £96 per annum.
– Electricity savings of £258 per annum
– Carbon savings of 1.71 tons per annum.

The solar PV array installed for this customer is anticipated to have a total lifetime benefit of £19,200 and a payback period of five years.
